Fairy Moon

This gorgeous bit of art can be found at Terra Studios in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  I took this back in March and loved the way it came out...it reminds me of a full moon that someone has painted on.  In reality it's the light fixture in one of their awesome booths over in the cafe.



Bentonville Horse: Crazy Horse Edition

Allow me to introduce you to the Bentonville Horse.  I have no idea if he has a real name, and in all honesty I have no idea if he is in fact a "he".  The cool thing about this horse is that he is always changing, different groups come out and give him an entirely new identity.  How fitting that he is the subject of my very first photo blog post.  My younger daughter inspired me to snap this picture as she is currently facinated with drawing all kinds of animals in top hats...how could I not get a picture of a real life (well sort of) animal in a top hat?  I'm calling this one crazy horse because well....just look at his eyes!
